1 Year of Belle&Yell: Platform for women evolves into an international community

One year after its launch, Belle&Yell is evolving from a curated platform for knowledge and solutions into an international community for women in midlife.

What was originally conceived as a digital space to bring together content on health, career, finance, and life design has, within just a few months, developed into something more: a space for exchange, connection, and mutual support.

“We quickly realized that women are not just looking for information,” says founder Regula Bathelt. “They are looking for connection — for other women who are going through similar life stages and are willing to share their experiences.”

Focus: Women in a pivotal life phase

Belle&Yell is designed especially for women 40+ — a group often navigating significant transitions:

• Career changes or reinvention
• Financial independence
• Health-related shifts
• Personal redefinition

Despite these dynamics, there is still a lack of offerings that address these topics holistically and on equal footing.

From content to community

With its one-year milestone, Belle&Yell is taking the next step: the official launch of an open community.

The focus is on honest conversations rather than polished perfection — and on mutual support instead of competition.

International and multilingual

As a European platform, Belle&Yell has been international from the very beginning. The community allows members to set their preferred language and translate posts and comments automatically. “Language should never be a barrier when it comes to connection and exchange,” Bathelt adds.

With the launch of the community, Belle&Yell is laying the foundation for a growing European network for women.
