From the yoga mat to an independent brand
There is a moment many women know: the top rides up. The waistband rolls down. The flow is gone. A small moment – yet a decisive one. Because this is exactly where we feel what clothing does to us when it pulls us out of our bodies instead of supporting us.
Why does clothing adapt to us – and not the other way around?
This question gave rise to Konekto. Not as a fashion label, but as an answer to a simple thought. Behind Konekto today are two women who see fashion not as a trend, but as a stance.
Carola Piechulek, founder of Konekto, is a trained master tailor, designer, and coach. Her work is shaped by a deep understanding of the body, movement, and fit.
Her own experience on the yoga mat led to the ambition to design clothing that gives women freedom – in everyday life as well as in movement.
Angie Bobie complements Konekto with her perspective as an educator, systemic coach, and yoga teacher. She brings a refined sensitivity for people, relationships, and community, shaping the brand’s values far beyond the product itself.
Mission: clothing that doesn’t shape women – but strengthens them
Together, Carola and Angie have created Konekto as a brand that is honest, empathetic, and present – designing clothing that accompanies women instead of molding them. Konekto is for women who don’t want to constantly adjust their clothes, but simply want to be.
Fair & local – because values go further
Konekto jumpsuits are created in collaboration with Made auf Veddel in Hamburg – a social workshop where professional craftsmanship meets genuine integration. Women with refugee or migration backgrounds work here under fair conditions, with time to arrive, learn, and develop.
Production takes place in small batches, directly on site: with short distances, personal coordination, and full transparency throughout the entire process. This results in clothing that is not produced anonymously, but carried by people, stories, and responsibility – for the women who make it and the women who wear it.
Fashion can be loud. Or honest.
Konekto is honest.
